Zoom Producer

What is a Zoom Producer?

Let’s start by talking about the changes we have all had to make over the last couple of years, the move to online working has been a life saver and allowed us to keep in contact with friends and colleagues all over the UK and possibly even worldwide. Zoom or other similar digital platforms have created opportunities we’d have otherwise lost.

It wasn’t the ideal but it did mean continuity of business in a difficult environment and has frequently led to meeting some amazing people that we’d have not met otherwise and attending events that wouldn’t have been possible in person.

We’re now all free enjoying the company of old and new connections in person, but I’m sure you know plenty of people you won’t have the opportunity to meet in person any time soon.

Online working has enabled access to many positive business opportunities that would not have otherwise been possible. Being back with personal contact to our business connections is great, but online working still has a strong place in the daily working of a business and in the development of new business options.

Working online has its own issues, a good internet connection is an essential but getting to grips the best available technology can be challenging. Keeping ahead of the competition and providing a professional service is difficult enough and taking advantage of new ways of working can increase the stresses involved in running a profitable and efficient operation.

A Zoom Producer can help facilitate an effective online event by providing the knowledge to get the best from the technology and keeping the session flowing without the event organiser having to worry about the process. Concentrating on the core work, reduces stress and improves performance and that’s what a Zoom Producer brings to the table. Any time you can increase your personal bandwidth to focus on your business, event goals and target expectations has to be a positive move.

Do you host meetings or workshops?

Let's talk

Would you like to take them online to keep connected to that wider audience?

Is it the tech that stops you from taking it online?

ETA Girl Friday, Zoom Producer could be one of the best business decisions you make today.

I can offer the use of my Zoom account, saving you from paying for a licence or being limited to a 40-minute session.

Each session setup for your specific needs, allowing you to focus on what you do best, creating the content and sharing it with your audience.

I’ll check that you’re able to use the necessary functions required for a slick and professional session.

I’ll be your mentor and wingman, admitting and welcoming each delegate personally.

Answering the repetitive questions and making a note of other questions, so they are ready when you’re ready to take questions. Making a seamless transition from host and presenter to responding the those attending the event. No more awkward silences while you scan through the chat to find relevant enquiries, screening out repetitive queries and straight to providing the advice and clarifications required.

A pre-session evaluation is included to ensure the smooth running of the event, making sure that the session represents your style and way of working, adapting my input to reflect your needs on the day.

If you know someone that could use a professional co-pilot and reliable wingman for their Zoom event, please do share this article with them.

New ways to celebrate!!

A VA is generally self-employed and provides professional administrative, technical, or creative (social) assistance to clients remotely, usually from a suitably equipped home office. VAs come in all shapes and sizes, there is no one size fits all, we all have good general admin. skills but always specialise in one or two disciplines for our own satisfaction and sanity, and provide the expertise that most benefits our clients. The best service isn’t provided by a ‘Jack or Jill of all trades’, clients come in many different forms and have diverse and varied needs and expectations, so it’s better to provide a focused and bespoke service, and adapt to the real needs of the customer. It’s always good working with someone who loves what they do and isn’t bogged down or stressed by a workload that doesn’t provide any form of stimulus or engagement. VAs give you time to concentrate on what you do best None of what I do is rocket science, but it does one very important thing, it gives you access to a range of expertise and experiences that you may or may not have, an extra hand without all the rigmarole and costs associated with employing and integrating a new member of staff. VAs release time for you to concentrate on what you do best, your business, we can provide a listening ear and sounding board for your issues and ideas, and when you work on your own that’s a nice thing to have. As a VA, no two days are the same, and I’d like to share what I’ve been doing for my client’s and give you an insight into me and what it’s like to be a VA and the unseen background work that makes the service worthwhile. A Typical day for me Here’s a typical day for me, hour by hour, calls, contract preparation and estimates for new clients, marketing, networking, writing newsletters, keeping website up to date, billable client work, etc..

I’m not one of those people who is blessed with oodles of confidence, despite any outward impressions some people may form, I am on the other hand someone who has always been there for others, a friend, a confidant and support. I’ve always found it difficult to move outside of my comfort zone and be a self promoter. That doesn’t mean that I’m a pushover or inadequate, I’m strong willed, positive and a happy workhorse.

It’s a very strange time for all of us whether you are out there with key services on the frontline or at home, working or with the uncertainty of a job to go back to. It’s a very strange time for all of us whether you are out there with key services on the frontline or at home, working or with the uncertainty of a job to go back to. My work as a Personal Travel Consultant abruptly stopped, but my passion to connect and support people remains and when, prior to Lockdown, an amazing lady organised a team of volunteers to support the vulnerable in our local community, I didn’t hesitate to do my bit. I thoroughly enjoy the activity and it gives me the opportunity to use my communication and admin skills. In more normal times I work with quite a few Networking groups and am the co-founder of our own group, Network & Thrive (N&T), so it was particularly important to me that this activity continued to maintain dialogue and those social and business connections that will be so important in the future. It is especially important in these uncertain times to support everyone, colleagues and clients who are suffering through lack of the usual personal interactions, so without hesitation our meetings went online, and a new routine was established.
